The Hotel Caprera was completely refurbished in January 2005. It is situated in Venice's historical and artistic center, near Canal Grande in Sestiere, a short walk from Venice railway station. Santa Lucia and Canal Grande are 10 minutes from the parking facilities at Piazzale Roma and Tronchetto. From the hotel you can visit the Ghetto of Venice, the Church dei Frari, the Scuola Grande di San Rocco and the University of Ca' Foscari. The nearest boat-stop is "Ferrovia" that's about 200 meters walking.
